She was born in Guadalajara and completed her primary education at the American School Foundation of Guadalajara. She graduated in Graphic Design. During her training process, she collaborated as a teacher assistant at the school that formed her. Through this experience, she discovered her taste and skills for teaching. Since then, she has dedicated her life to education, with more than 28 years of teaching experience.
She has a master’s degree in International Education from the University of Framingham. Since 2013 she has taught workshops for teachers on Math Their Way and has experience in Lucy Calkin’s Readers and Writers Workshop. She recently obtained the Level 1 Certification from Google for Education.
In addition to her collaboration with EDUPAM, she is a second-grade home-room teacher at an international bilingual school in Guadalajara.
I am part of EDUPAM because I want to make a difference in Mexico’s children’s lives. I hope that everyone can have access to international quality education and improve their lives and the future of Mexico!
